Wonderful RAK!!

Sorry to post this so late.

I got this rak from Teri. I actually comment on one of her weekly candy blog and it was a Birthday stamp set and that week was my birthday. I didn't win but she still manage to give me a little gift for my birthday. Thank you Teri for the stamps and ribbon!!! They will come in handy for ST. PATRICK DAY! And the ribbon is a great color with bright flowers. This was mail to me last month ending of January.

I came across Dawne's blog through Teri's blog one day and seen her post on For Sou and I was reading it. She volunteer to make cards and sell them for her cousin's fiancee treatment that's diagnosed with leukemia. I had volunteer to help since it's a good cause for it. I donated 5 of my cards that I created and gave it to her. Just to show her appreciation, she give me this lovely kit. Thanks Dawne !

Charisma Cards Challenge # 6

This weeks challenge over at http://charismacardz.blogspot.com/ is "Cupcakes or any other cake." I just love cupcakes and baking them. So this is what I came up with. The cupcake die cut is from the Hello Kitty Cricut Cartridge. Then I cut out an oval from the Plantin Schoolbook Cartridge. I emboss the oval using the cuttlebug folder on swiss dots. I just stamp some cupcakes on the bottom and colored it with my copic pens and Big "Mart it" markers. I also added my Glazed Dimensions Pens on the cupcake die cut and sprinkle some red glass beads. Stamp and emboss the phrase " U R SO SWEET" Finish touch I added a ribbon. This looks to delicious to eat. Speaking of cupcake we had one this afternoon. Doesn't this look yummy, the cupcakes are design into a shape lady bug.

Also at the party this afternoon. The theme was bugs and they handed a few butterflies to some of the kids and they were suppose to release them and let it fly. He actually tried to let it go but the butterfly didn't want to fly. It was on Landen's finger for a long time. Landen decided that he wanted to keep it ,so we end of taking it home. We put it in a jar. Isn't this cool.

Hello kitty gifts for Noemi

Later on today we're going to a birthday party. My boyfriend's dad side relatives. Which we hardly see them. But I wanted to make something since it was for a little girl. I just love to make gifts, instead of buying. Since it was kind of last minute, I decided to try. Here's what I came up with. I made a hello kitty name frame, a name tag, and a birthday card, also bought a Hello Kitty jewelry set. For the name frame I added her picture and Hello Kitty cut from the cricut. I just love using Glazed Dimensions Pens. I use it for the outline on NOEMI and some on hello kitty shirt and also added dew drops. I made a name tag and added Hello Kitty die cut, I think the hello kitty face size was 1 3/4". I just decided to write her name by my handwriting. Then I made a birthday card, I use the glitter sweet by DCWV. I added a die cut of a cupcake from Celebrations cricut cartridge. And again I trace the cupcake with the Glazed Dimensions Pens. It really make the image stand out more. They have it in all different colors. Hope everyone enjoy their Valentine's Day yesterday. My boyfriend had to work and he came home kind of late. He ordered food from Room Service and Paradise. It's a list of restaurants and they deliver . We choose Romano's Macaroni Grill. We couldn't eat out because we didn't RSVP. I enjoy the peace and quiet. Well I must get ready now, hope everyone enjoy the rest of their weekend.

Landen's Valentine's Project

My son is in kindergarten and for Valentine' Day, they need to design a V-Day mailbox using a shoe box or Kleenex box or anything that retriangle shape. So we decided to just use a box that we could find around the house. Each student will be handing out letters/cards to each other. And this is how this box turn out. With all the cards he had to write to his classmate, there's 22 students in his class including him. I wanted to take a pix of the cards he made but he already had seal them. I manage to take 2 because that was the last one he had to finish. He use my cricut to cut out some shapes and images. He just love using that machine. He was so amaze how big the size you can cut he had cut a 15" star for his last project. Which was for his Add Imagecelebrating 100 days of school. So we decided to make 100 different gold shape stars. I forgot to take a pix of.

I complete forgot that it was my turn to bring goodies for his classmates.Since my son loves Kellogg's Rice Krispies Cereal, he eat that for breakfast with real strawberry inside and milk. I remember seeing this on Paper Kisses Blog. Since that was a good idea rice crispy treats made with marshmallows and candy sprinkles stuffed in an ice cream cone. But I couldn't find strawberry marshmallows, so I use a little bit of red food coloring. I didn't have time to figure out how to make the holders. So I just use those Valentine's treat/goodie bag. Then tie ribbons into a bow with a tag on it. He had fun putting the sprinkles, he was tempted to have one he couldn't wait till tomorrow so since there was extra I gave him one. Also he always my helper.

Hope you guys enjoy your Valentine's Day weekend.

I was tagged!

Nicky tagged me to participate in this exciting game. I'm supposed to go the 6th picture, in my 6th folder, where I store my pictures, and then tell the story behind that picture. So, here's my picture. This was taken back in 2004. It was my son Landen's first birthday and baptismal party. From L to R my close and best friends Merly and Ana, then me and Landen. The party was big knowing Filipino's need to get a big first birthday party. We had about 230 guest. It was at the Filipino Community (FilCom)Center in Waipahu. Landen had a great and fun night, he was already sleeping at the end to sing and blowing out this candle. So fast how he grows up. He's turning 6 yrs old in March =(. I miss him being this young now I can't carry him, the only time I carry him is when he fall asleep in the car while driving back home. He's getting so big.

Now on to tagging 6 people to join in on the fun. Please don't feel obligated to play along, but if you do. Leave me a comment so that I can check out your picture!

Doing Good For Others

Can you believe it's February already?!? I'm really excited for Valentine's Day and here's a cute little card I made. I just had to get started, to get an earily start. Valentine's Day is in 2 weeks. I want to start out giving out cards to my friends & family since I never did last year. This year will be different. Receiving home made card or any thing custom made is really more excited, that's how I feel. I treasure and appreciate it more since it take time and effort making cards.

Anyway enough about that. Since today was Superbowl my boyfriend went to his grandma's house to watch the game, while I stay home with my son who actually had the stomach ache. But he's feeling much better now. Since I had the chance to stay home, I did a little craft time. So here's the Hello Kitty card I made for Dawne family member. She volunteer to make cards and sell them for her cousin's fiancée treatment that's diagnosed with leukemia. I had volunteer to help since it's a good cause for it. I love to do volunteer work and helping out. So I donated 5 of my cards. Here it is I have actually 1 more to finish but I have to go to the store and get some glue my son use up all my glue for his Valentine's Day Mailbox School Project. Once I get it done, I'll contact Dawne to meet me somewhere and pick it by.
