Royal Battle - Week 1

Hi there everyone! I hope that you guys are enjoying the rest of your weekend. I just wanted to share with you folks that I have join TGF Junkies team for the Royal Battle going on over at The Greeting Farm. The members on my team is me, Naoual (Team Leader), Karin, Ria, and Zoe . The Royal Battle is a battle of teams, the most votes will get to go on the next round. Then on Wednesday will be the post on which team will go on the next round and a new challenge will be issued. Voting lasts until Tuesday evening (midnight) you have to vote for three cards each week. Hopefully, we make it to the final round and a chance to win a big prize.
The first Battle challenge is to make a retro-esque card using the colors featured in the picture on the top. Click Here to get to the gallery, and please leave a comment there to cast for our team under TGF Junkies. You have till Tuesday evening to vote. Thank you and wish us luck. This is the card we went with it was design and created by Ria. Ria had use TGF digi image called Charlotte. This image is so perfect to go with the Retro theme. She did a fabulous job with the color combo.
Well here's the card I created for this challenge. We suggested that each member will create a card and we will vote which one will be entered for the challenge. Since it was a Retro theme I came up with the idea of disco lights and colors work great for the theme as well. I use image Charlotte too but this is my first time coloring brown skin tone with my copics. I wanted to added some blush on Charlotte and some how the color bleach her cheeks. Shouldn't have done that, I still need practice and more techniques on coloring. Well Ria had share with me if you want to color a dark coloured skin tone to add the blush use Copic R20 before you colour with the skin tone. Thanks Ria for sharing me that information. Well thanks for stopping.

Easter Basket

Hi! Happy Friday! TGIF! Today I'm off due to the holiday but I have a few house chores to complete. It seem like it's never ending doing laundry, washing dishes, cleaning, and getting organize. Well a couple weeks ago I attended Denise craft gathering and boy I really needed that, to take a break and mingle with some friends. I also meet some new crafters. Oh what fun. Here's what I made for the girls. Since Easter is almost here I decided to make an Easter theme to gave out. I came across Kimbee's blog a couple nights before the gathering and I just love her basket she created. So while looking at it, I decided to make a sketch on the template and see how it would look like. I use my Cricut DS to design the template and cut it with my cricut. I just love my Cricut and DS, the possibilities are endless. I had so much fun putting together this basket. The image is from Amy's design called Sweet November - Sparkle Thistleweed. I just love her images and her creations. She is such a talented lady, be sure to check out her new line for Easter. They are so adorable. So anyway here's my version of the Easter basket and hope to make more of these to give out. Hope you guys like it. Well it's time for me to head for bed, I have a long day in the morning to get ready for some Spring cleaning. Gosh, I really don't want to clean especially since the weather here in Hawaii has been raining. But someone has to do the dirty work. LOL! Enjoy your day! I will be back to post a small blog candy later on this week, this is for a celebration of my son's birthday which was on Wednesday. Thanks for stopping by!

Wonderful RAK

Hi everyone and happy Monday! Hope your starting your week well. I received some BRAK, VRAK, and also won a blog candy from talented ladies! Thank you so much for taking the time to create something wonderful and special just for me. I'm so lucky and bless to have great friends I have met through blogging. Your friendships means a lot to me.

From Marisa - I just love this birthday tag. I really need to try this technique where you use distress ink. And I love the charm.

From Linda - Wow I was so surprise. This is such a beautiful card and she use a white CS that had some shine to it to stamp the image. I just love it and look at all the goodies she sent me. Linda you are so sweet and thank you so much and glad to make friends with you.
From Kyoko - She gave me this card and a GC from Starbucks for my birthday! I'm glad she use the ribbon I gave her and I really like the MS border punch she use for my card.
From Denise - Thanks Denise for thinking of me! The chocolate was yummy.

Here's my February OCS card I got from Anne. She use the liquid applique on the cat. I never try that before. I need to look for that, I haven't seen it at any local craft store. I also like the DP she use.
From Brenda - I won her blog candy last month. Isn't that Mini Sewing Kit box so cute? She also gave me a Free Subscription to February's Projects at Craft Project Central. Check out her blog she so created with her punches. And check out Craft Project Central there's a bunch of amazing project you can learn and get ideas from.
Your thoughtfulness really means a lot to me. Thank you again visiting my blog and for all of the very kind comments. Enjoy your day!

Ebony & Edward Seeing Spots !

Hi everyone. I'm so glad it's the weekend. This week at Club Anya & Friends is hostess by Trish, she came up with a cute "SEEING SPOTS" theme-in which participants must use at least 3 circles on their project. I made this card for a friend who's birthday is coming up. I chose to use TGF digi Dressy Ebony and Flirty Edward. This was a fun card to create, I made it into a swing card. I finally got to use my cricut, haven't use that for a while. The circle scallop card is made from my cricut using Wlld Card cartridge. I paper pieced Ebony's dress & headband, added a prima and put dots on it and a bling. Put a black half pearl for her necklace. The inside of the swing card I use Cricut cartridge called Celebration for the birthday hat and cupcake. Doesn't the cupcake looks yummy?
Now inside the card I use Flirty Edward, colored him with my copics and paper piece his shirt and added glitter on his face and body. The sentiment says May all your wishes come true. Have a day sparkling with happiness & joy too.
Brr... Hope you're keeping warm. It's so cold and raining here in Hawaii. Thanks so much for stopping by! I really enjoy your lovely comments that makes me smile=)
