Another shaker card

Here's another card I made the other night. I just enjoy making this shaker cards. Try to get the hand of it. Hopefully I can try to make those double shaker cards that Teri has created. Take on step at a time. Well the image is from Pink Cat Studio called Enchanted Lily. I have use my Prisma color pencils and some of my copics pens. The DS is from SU. I just love the colors of that paper. Then I use pink, yellow, light lilac, and clear micro beads then finish touch with some Primas also use some of the flower embellishment from Nicky that I won from her blog candy. I put 2 inside the shaker box and one on the Primas. So sorry for the bad picture I took it at night time and the lighting in my room is so bad. Hopefully I get done with my chores then pack my bags and I'm off to Japan on Tuesday with my mom and her co-workers. I'm so excited! Thanks for stopping by!

My first shaker card I made!!!

I finally created my first shaker card. At first I thought it would be hard. I enjoy seeing Joy and Teri 's shaker cards that they created. So why not give it a try. I had to think what I was going to make for my April OCS partner hosted my Teri. My partner was Gracie. I was so happy to be partners with Gracie since I already had met her, she's in Glama Gurlz a group that we both join. Well I wasn't sure what was her favorite color. I visit her blog and the background is always pink so I figure maybe she likes pink. Oh well pink is my favorite color esp. with brown in it. So I stick to pink and brown and added a little bit of purple. I knew how much she loves Magnolia images. I filled it with pink, clear, and black micro beads. Some of the beads were stuck on the side were I had put too much double side tape. Since this was my first time making it I had to make sure the beads won't fall off. The DS paper was from SU that I got from Teri's paper club last month. Then I added some Primas and light orange brad to complete it. I hope she likes it, she should already receive it. I'm going to be so busy this week. I'm going to be on vacation. Everytime before I leave for a trip, I must get my room clean and chores done so that means I have a lot of laundry to wash and get my son things ready. Since my boyfriend work grave yard. His mother will be helping out with Landen, dropping him to school. Since my boyfriend parents lives at Waipahu. Landen would have to sleep at Waipahu. I just hope my boyfriend has it under control. Usually being a mom means doing a lot of responsiblity "doing most of the chores." Well that's it for now. Good night.

Swappin' Scraps Springtime ATC's

ATC stands for artist trading cards. The standard is 2.5" x 3.5". These miniature pieces of art, or in the case of scrap books, mini page layouts, are as much fun to trade and collect as they are to be created. Sara from Scrap Happie is hosting a Springtime ATC's Swap. I had so much fun making these. I got the stamp Jeans stamp set from Teri that I won her blog candy last month. But the size of the jean pocket was too big so I had scan it and photo shop it to make sure it was the right size to fit on my ATC. There you go I made my own digital stamp.Heeee (LOL). I print it out on blue card stock. Then the sentimental " Wishing you all the lovely gifts of spring!"was from SU Easter set last year edition I got it for $5 at the Scrapper Jam. Of course it was use. But who cares it's still good. Then I emboss the yellow card stock using my Sizzix emboss folder called Spring Vine. Finishing it with some Primas, Leafs, and Brads. Happy Easter everyone!

My Cute Stamp

My Cute Stamps has adorable set of stamps. This is my favorite. Isn't it the cutest stamp set. I just love anything with an owl and nature stuff. The rest of the animals are adorable too. Holly at Creating cupcakes is offering a blog candy in celebration of Easter. She is giving a set of Rubberstamps called Jelly Bean Stamps. They are so cute. She will randomly select a winner on Wednesday, April 15th. So hurry and Good Luck !

My project for Anela's birthday

Ok here is the finally project of Anela's first luau. It was on Saturday and it's finally over. I had so much fun creating and being in charge of the invitations, sign in book, favors, CD soundtrack, centerpiece, and the money box. This was my 3rd huge project that I had to do and create. My boyfriend was in charge of the slide show and I thought that since he just started a new job last week we had to make a schedule on using the computer. I had to use the computer Saturday morning due to my cousin miss 1 box filled with the favor jars which was 75 more jars to do. I had to print out more labels and since the party started at 4pm I had to go there early and glue each one. Also that morning I needed two more DS paper for the money box to put on the Right side and Left side. I when to Scrapbook Clubhouse at 9:30am and they had an Easter Sale . You’ll pick your discount at check-out from a basket fill of plastic eggs and in those eggs would have a discount coupon on it either 15%, 20%, 25%, 30%, 35% or 40% and one “golden” egg will have 50% off! I had bought some DS papers and Anime monkey QuicKutz die I just love monkeys. My total was suppose to be around $70 and I end up paying $42 something, I got the 40% coupon. Wasn't that cool wish I bought more stuff but once you get to the register that's it. I was so happy to save some money. Well here are the project I had done for the party and I had so much compliments also my boyfriend Lance for the slide show. He did such a good job. For the sign up book I use Adobe photo shop, I just use the image from the invitation. The size of the sign-in book 7 1/2 by 7 1/2. I use DS paper that I got from Scrapbook Clubhouse. Then I just printed front and back on a white card stock the name and address. For the center piece we decided to use the hula girls from Island Heritage boxes. The hula girls images are so beautiful. Then we stuff it with red & green candied popcorn from Samurai snack shop in Aiea, then added 2 Hawaiian Host Macadamia nuts travel size bag , and finally the CD's I made from the Lilo & Stitch soundtrack. For the money box I first stray paint it blue then I decorate with my sizzix tropic flowers folder which was for the Hibiscus and the Plumeria. I printed some images from Nancy Kubo Hula Chick Graphic digital image that I download last month and Lilo and Stitch image, and also a picture of the birthday girl Anela. Then I cut on some wave and the ocean. I also for the sand I actually put real sand on it to make it look real. Now that's done I can't wait for my next big project which will be my nephew's first birthday in September. Hope you guys like it. Thanks for visiting.

Colour Create Challenge #9

This weeks colour combination for Colour Create is blue and lilac. I love this color combo. Aren't these two colors beautiful and go well together? This is my first entry to this challenge. The image is Willow Umbrella Girl from Whiff of Joy's coloured with my Prismacolor pencils , then I emboss the lilac paper with swirls and roses design then add some blue ink on it before I put it in the Big Shot. Then I use the ribbon to make a lace, I didn't have enough to tie a bow . That's the thing I don't have most of are ribbons. I need to go shopping for some ribbons. Then I finish off with some light green color blings. Thanks for stopping by and Good Night.
