A Fun Sunday !!!!!

Hi Everyone! Hope you guys enjoy your weekend. As for me I was busy getting my son ready for school which he will starts this Thursday. Gosh it's so fast how his summer's ending. The night before Sunday, I had a craft day gathering the next day. So of course I had to make something small for those who will be there. Wish I made some Furikake Mix. But I didn't quite planned ahead maybe next time. I made the gals mini magnetic book marker and gave some flowered buttons. Last month I seen this at Kapolani Hospital Gift Shop and it was five dollar something. It so expensive for a small bookmark and beside the design wasn't that great. So I decided to make my own. Here's how it looks like.
Here 's a simple instruction for making this mini magnetic bookmark. Start off with a 2 .5 X 5 piece of card stock or DP which ever you want. Then score it 2.5" landscape. You need 2 magnets sizes are 1 3/4" X 3 3/4" . Glue it in the inside. On the outside you can create whatever you desires. I use a oval scallop, I design it using my cricut, DS, and Mini Monograms cartridge. I don't have the scallop Nestabilities. I need to get that it comes in handy. But I do have the oval. The image I use was a digi image from Nancy Kubo "Aloha Cuties"sets. I have download these couple months ago and finally got to use it again. Aren't they a cutie. To complete it I use some stickles.
Denise had planned this gathering since last month for us to get together and do some crafting. Thank you Denise and your family for letting us use your lovely home for crafting and hanging out. We did a lot of stamping and of course eating too. I was happy to attend last month gathering. This month I got to finally met Nicky, Joni H., Joy, Michelle U.,and Janis. It was nice to meet them. It's always great to meet new people and become great friends with them especially since we all love crafting. It's amazing that we all made RAK's for each other. It felt like Christmas when I received all the RAKs I got from these talented ladies.

Thanks everyone for a wonderful time and I was glad to finally met you guys. I look forward to our next gathering. Good Night!

Raks

When I got back I had a Surprise package from Denise. She is so thoughtful to think of me. I comment her about these 3x3 magazine holder a while back and I just adore these, but haven't had the time to make one on my own. So I'll just admire the one Denise gave me. Thanks so much.

Since she was so nice, I wanted to let her know that I truly appreciated and what a Surprise it was. So I made are a little something to Thank her. Since I got back from Japan I made a Kimono card for her that I got from YouTube there's the website http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bIzLD7xwIJM. I had fun making these so I made more and will post them soon.

This Rak is from Jodie. I just love the Cinderella card she made. It so adorable. She also gave me a bunch of images and I can't wait to color them with my new set of Copics. I just met her 2 weeks ago at the GG gathering and she is so nice and funny. She made us laugh talking about her twins, I don't know how she does it.But I'm sure she good at it taking care of them. Thanks Jodie!I'm still working on mines to sent to you.

Wonderful RAK!!

Sorry to post this so late.

I got this rak from Teri. I actually comment on one of her weekly candy blog and it was a Birthday stamp set and that week was my birthday. I didn't win but she still manage to give me a little gift for my birthday. Thank you Teri for the stamps and ribbon!!! They will come in handy for ST. PATRICK DAY! And the ribbon is a great color with bright flowers. This was mail to me last month ending of January.

I came across Dawne's blog through Teri's blog one day and seen her post on For Sou and I was reading it. She volunteer to make cards and sell them for her cousin's fiancee treatment that's diagnosed with leukemia. I had volunteer to help since it's a good cause for it. I donated 5 of my cards that I created and gave it to her. Just to show her appreciation, she give me this lovely kit. Thanks Dawne !
