Midnight Madness (MMSC21)

Hi everyone! It's been so long since I did a challenge. So this week I decided to join in the Midnight Madness Challenge #21. I use image from Gurlee Girl - Witch girl. Since Halloween is almost here I decided to stick with a Halloween theme. I find myself buying a lot of witch stamps. I love witches for some reason. Well I colored Witch girl with my copics. Added some bling on her hat and belt. Dew drop on her broomstick. I made the broom look real my adding some stick straw. I use black flocking fibers on her boots and clear crystal lacquer on her hat and lips . Finishing touch I added some ribbons and a button. I really like this sketch. Thanks for stopping by, have a great day!

Spooktacular!

Good morning everyone! Hope you guys had a fabulous weekend! Little C's now carries The Greeting Farm. I decided to use this set since Halloween is around the corner and it's fun to get started on those treats you want to share with friends and family. This set is called Spooktacular. I colored the images with my Copic Pens. My hubby had bought a mouse for his computer and he had this shape of box inside. Since he knows I love boxes and if I could use this for something. Of course I trace the template and will try to figure out how to create this in my Cricut and DS. Hope I will have the time to play around and create this template and get it right. Well this box looks like a tombstone so I wanted to use this as a treat box. The skeleton stamp is from Stampin Up and I added clear crystal lacquer on it. If you haven't start on your Halloween treats stop by Little C's and order yours today. These are a great set to use, there's so many ways you can use them for. Thanks for stopping by!

Khaleb's birthday project

Hi everyone! I'm so behind with my posting. Thanks to those who have left me such kind and caring comments about my back. I'm feeling a little better but the pain comes back when I'm sitting in a long period or even standing. But putting a heat back and also a tense unit really helps.

As I promise I have my nephew's birthday party project that I have created beginning of this month. The theme was Sesame Street but was focusing on the main characters which was Elmo, Cookie Monster, and Big Bird. Here is the money box. I made it using my Cricut and Cartridge was from Sesame Street Font . I wrap the box with cupcakes gift wrapper and added a ribbon so the box is actually like a gift that the characters are holding.

Here is his center piece. The basket is filled with one Sesame Street character. Added 3 different kind of Nabisco cookies snack bag such as Oreo, Nutter Butter, Teddy Grahams, Chips Ahoy, and Putter Butter Ritz Bits. Put a Thank you label put it in a basket plastic bag got from GBC and added a ribbon to match it with the color of the character.

This is his favors. Which was a container from his baby food that they have save. It sort of little mini Tupperware. Well I design the top label using a clip image of Sesame Street character's that I downloaded and use Abobe Photoshop and added a picture of Khaleb. Then on the right side I added a thank you message. I use the Fiskars ABC123 border punch to wrap it around the container. Image punching 300 of these. Ouch!

Here is a picture of me and my nephew Khaleb. Thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous Sunday!

Sorry I been MIA

Hi everyone! I'm so sorry I been MIA. I just had so much things going on. Two weeks ago, I had my nephew's first birthday party and the following day I had a baptismal to attend, then I had my brother and cousin's birthday luncheon the day after. Last week I caught the flu from my son who happen to caught it from one of his classmate from school. So his doctor told him to take couple days off from school. Landen was so funny because he didn't want to miss Thursday because that's his science day. We had sign him up for an after school program which is called Kid's Invent sort of like a science class and they actually invent something and they bring it home. Also he didn't want to miss so many days because he would have to do some make - up work which he has to do it during recess. So he said "Mom, I can't miss any more days of school because I won't have recess and I rather play during recess because that's the only time I get to see my friends and play with them." So enough about that I been in bed this weekend, also my sinus been acting up. Then last week Friday I got into a car accident. My hubby's sister was driving and I was in the back seat she pick me up from work on Friday because I wasn't feeling well and since she and her mom was at Pearl ridge shopping, they waited a while till I get off and we were going to get my son from school and she had to do some errands in town before she leaves on Saturday night to go back to Oregon my hubby's parents also went to Oregon to help her move to her apartment and get a car for her. So any way, she was driving on the third lane heading East bound some how a SUV in back of us loss control of his car because someone in back of him was speeding and was trying to cut into his lane and the SUV swing to my hubby's sister car on the left side and we hit someone car on the right side next to the other lane. I'm glad everyone was okay just a few minor scratch from the glass that shatter from Lance's sister car. So I kind of hurt my lower back when the car swing to the right. I only started feeling the pain on Sunday afternoon, I thought it was part of the flu where the symptom can be body aches too but it was only my back feeling so sore. I have pain on my lower and middle back when I try to bend down to pick up something or when I turn my back to the right. I been seeing a physical therapy, he's helping me to get my muscle loose by doing some back stretches. I'm still shaken up about the accident but I'm glad to be alive. Things could have been worst. Thank god everyone was okay we can always replace the car but we can never replace a human being. We need to appreciate more in our lives and be thankful for. Thanks for stopping by and good night.

It's almost that time again and it will be around the corner soon. Are you guys ready to trick or treat. LOL! I just love Halloween for some reason I get so excited and I can't wait to get started on all the goodies that I will be making for my son's classmate, my friends, and family. I should get started soon. Well here is a card I would like to share with you all, one of the newest stamps we received for Little C's, this image is called " Witch Emma" from Sugar Plums. Isn't she adorable. I couldn't make her looks like one of those scary witches. She is Emma the friendly witch. I colored Emma with my Copic pens, added clip images which was the tombstone and bats. I also use Crystal Lacquer Metallic gold and orange for the stars and part of Emma's hat and clear for the moon. I made the clouds out of cotton because the bats are a darker color so I wanted it to stand out. Thank you for stopping by. I'll be posting some picture's of my nephew's first birthday party tomorrow.

Stamp N' Scrap Hawaii Challenge & LJ's grandparent's day!

Hi everyone! How are you guys doing today? I'm so glad it's Friday and the weekend is almost here. Today will be such a busy day for me . I just got back from my son performance from school, the first graders had a small program for Grandparent's Day. We had breakfast at their cafeteria and all the student made a performance singing and dancing for their grandparents. After the cafeteria we all went to the classroom and check out their stuff that they were learning in class. Later on this afternoon I'll be doing errands. Today is my nephew's birthday party and I just got done doing all the favors, centerpiece, money box, guest book, and slide show with my hubby's help, we got everything done last night. Will be helping my brother set up the party. So it will be a long day. I'll be post some of the party things I have created later on this week.

Here is LJ and his classmate getting ready to sing and dance.

Here is the grandparents (my hubby side) and Aiko (LJ cousin)

Here is Mama kissing LJ to say Thank You and you did a great job!
Enough about that, now about crafting. Today is another challenge at Stamp n' Scrap Hawaii. This week's challenge is followed by a sketch created by the fabulous Jen. Here is my take on this sketch using Popcorn the Bear - Thanks a Bunch. Since the winner will receive a choice of one of these adorable Popcorn Bear we decided to use these images for this week challenge. I just love these cute bear. This one is my favorite so far the one with the sunflowers. Since the image is a bear , I use light brown flocking fibers just round the bear and it's nose. Thought about how teddy bears are so cuddly and furry. Color it using my copics and my new set of copic atyou spica glitter pens. I only use colored orange for the sunflowers. Sorry it's hard to see it due to the lighting in my room also since I took this picture at night. I added one dew drop on the MS butterfly punch out, yellow ribbons, ovals are from cuts out I use from my Cricut. You can also purchase these dew drops and Popcorn bear stamp at Little C's, they have different sections to chose from. Hope you join us for this challenge, wouldn't you like to win one of these adorable bear stamp. I can't wait to see your creations using this sketch. Have fun and enjoy your weekend.
